What is Reuse Prevention?

Reuse Prevention helps you think ahead and plan what you can do when you find yourself in high risk situations that could lead you to return to old patterns of behavior. The goal of these action steps is to help you find alternative solutions so you may achieve your goals.

What is a Reuse Prevention Plan?

A Reuse Prevention Plan is a tool that you'll create in collaboration with your Peer Recovery Specialist by talking through the topics listed below. In the Worksheet section below, you'll find a printable version of a Reuse Prevention Plan worksheet or you can create your own.
